trump-125-million.jpgThe Wall Street Journal reported recently that Donald Trump turned down a $90 million offer for his Pam Beach mansion, which is one of the most expensive listings in the country at $125 million.  Trump bought the estate, which has 575 feet of direct ocean frontage, for $41.35 million in a bankruptcy auction a couple of years ago.  It has undergone extension renovations.  Here’s a link to the WSJ report:

begreen.jpgWith “green” building all the rage these days, the United States Green Building Council’s annual conference and exhibition is likely to be a very popular conference this November in Chicago.  More than 20,000 people are expected to attend Greenbuild to learn more about the rapidly growing green home building industry, including the LEED green building rating system, which was developed by the USGBC as a tool to build healthy, energy efficient, resource-friendly structures.  The conference is aimed at a broad cross-section of disciplines: architects, home builders, real estate professionals, contractors, financial service providers, government agencies, green power providers and interior designers, just to name a few.  See www.greenbuildexpo.org for more information.
